Day 1 Hong Kong / Guangzhou ( Direct train ) Guangzhou/xining (flight)
Met at the Guangzhou Station and transferred to the domestic airport to connect with a flight to Xining - the capital of Qinghai Province.

Day 2 Xining
Travel to the Sun & Moon Hills before proceeding to the Qinghai Lake - China's largest inland salt water lake and artists' paradise. It is renowned for its mirrored pastel sunrise, azure beauty at midday and the indigo blues of sunset - natural scenery of vastness, beauty, mystery and quietness. Visit the Ta'er Lamasery, the birthplace of the founder of the Yellow Sect. Mural paintings, butter flowers and embossed embroideries are famed as the "Three Extremely

Day 3
Xining / Ledu / Tongren
Visit the Qutan Monastery, known as the Lesser Forbidden City in Ledu County, is famous for the Ming-style buildings, precious relics and valuable murals of the Ming and Qing (AD1644-1911) dynasties. Onward to the Liuwan Tombs, the largest tombs of primitive clan commune with state-level painted pottery statue unearthed.

Day 4 Tongren
The four villages in the Tongren county are known as the home to Buddhist paintings and sculptures, popular some 700 years ago. At the Regong Art Museum, learn how the Art was being fully used in beautifying daily life. Visit the famous Wutun and Longwu Temples as good examples of the influence by the Art.

Day 5 Tongren / Xiahe
Set in a beautiful mountain valley, Xiahe is second to Tibet for the monasteries. Visit the Labrang Monastery, one of the six major Tibetan monasteries of the Gelukpa (Yellow sect of Tibetan Buddhism). It is a religious and educational center with six institutes for over one thousand monks.

Day 6 Xiahe /zhongwei
Drive to zhongwei. Visit Gao temple, the cultural crystallization of Confucian Taoism and Buddhism.

Day 7 zhongwei/yinchuan
In Shapotou tourism zone, you could wander in the sea of sand by riding a camel and traveling along the yellow river by sheepskin raft. Sightsee 108 dagobas, which is a tremendous group of towers on a steep cliff of Qingtongxia reservoir. Drive to Yinchuan and stay at a 4-star hotel.

Day 8 Yinchuan
Sightsee the Western-Xia Kingdom Mausoleum, a royal tomb group of the Western Xia Kingdom, including 9 tombs of royalties and over 200 tombs of officials. Visit Rock Art of Helan Mountain, which extends for 500 li (250 km). Tens of thousands of arts curved on rock were discovered at its east foot. Go to visit Baisi Pass Twin-Pagoda scenic spot. The Twin Pagodas have both the feathers of the brick pagodas of the central paintings of China and traditional styles of Xixia Buddhism spread from Tibet. Stay at a 4-star hotel.

Day 9 Yinchuan/Hongkong
Visit Ningxia museum, where exhibit of western xia kingdom, hui people`s custom and ningxia revolution are displayed. Beside Ningxia museum, there is Chengtiansi tower, which was built in the ancient time of western xia, and has a history of 930 years.
Take a flight to Hong Kong.
