The long and winding Silk Road in northwest China
has a history of more than two thousand years.
The opening of the Silk Road has contributed greatly
to the exchange and development of ethical and
material civilization between the East and West.
The wild and desolate Gobi desert, grasslands,
snowy mountains and the ruins of ancient cities
on the Silk Road remind visitors of mysterious
legends that are closely associated with them,
evidence of the rise and fall of successive dynasties.
You can't help heaving a sigh with emotion when
you stand on the ruins of an ancient city which
used to be so bustling and prosperous and is now
reduced to yellow
mounds. When you are warmly entertained
by local resident, and watch their unique art
performances or stroll through their bazaars,
you will find their life style and customs simple
and yet colorful, strange and yet intimate.
Day01 Arrival in Beijing, the
capital of modern China. Our guide and driver
meet you and transfer to local tourism restaurant
for dinner . Overnight in Qianmen Hotel
Day02 morning flight to Yinchuan. After
lunch, visit Hai Bao Pagoda, popular called ¡°Northern
Pagoda¡±, is one of the16 famous Pogodas in China.
And then, in the yard, visit the Ningxia Museum,
which exhibits culture relics of Westen Xia kingdom
and Helan mountain rock art, etc. Sightsee Chengtian
Monastery pagoda, which has a history of more
than 930 years and is the principal Pagoda in
Western Xia kingdom.
Day03 Sightsee the Western-Xia
Kingdom Mausoleum, a royal tomb group of the Western
Xia Kingdom, including 9 tombs of royalties and
over 200 sacrificial tombs. Visit Rock Art of
Helan Mountain, which extends for 500 li (250
km). Tens of thousands of arts curved on rock
were discovered at its east foot. Go to visit
Baisi Pass Twin-Pagoda scenic spot. The Twin Pagodas
have both the feathers of the brick pagodas of
the central paintings of China and traditional
styles of Xixia Buddhism spread from Tibet.
Day04 Drive to Zhongwei. Sightsee
108 dagobas, which is a tremendous group of towers
on a steep cliff of Qingtongxia reservoir. In
Shapotou tourism zone, you could wander in the
sea of sand by riding a camel and traveling along
the yellow river by sheep skin raft. Visit Gao
temple, the cultural crystallization of Confucian
Taoism and Buddhism.
Day05 Visit Ming great wall in
the way back from Zhongwei to Yinchuan. Flight
to Xian - served as the capital for 11 dynasties.
Here you can see some of China¡¯s most outstanding
archeological discoveries. Afternoon visit the
mosque, the Bell Tower, and Wild Goose Pagoda.
Evening, special dinner show at Tang Dynasty Theater.
Overnight at Jianguo Hotel.
Day06 morning visits to famous
the tombs of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and magnificent
Terra Cotta warriors. Afternoon flight to Dunhuang,
once the most important trade hub between inland
China and central Asia in Han and Tang Dynasties.
It is in the westernmost part of Gansu province.
Upon arrival , visit night bazaar, sand dunes
and camel ride to the Crescent Moon Lake . Overnight
at Dunhuang Hotel
Day07 full day visit to the Mogao
Grottes, the best preserved example of Buddhist
caves art in China. After dinner take flight to
Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous
Region ¨C the largest province in China. Overnight
at Hotel World Plaza
Day08 drive to Turpan ¨C famous
with his ¡° four most ¡° in China ( the lowest place
, the driest , hottest and the sweetest ) . Afternoon,
visit the ruins of Ancient City of Jiaohe , local
museum and Karez Well - an underground irrigation
system in Turpan ) . In the eveningenjoying Uygur
dance performance. Overnight at Turpan Oasis Hotel.
Day09 Visit the ruins of Gaochang
ancient city , Bezkelik Thousand Buddha Caves
, Astana Ancient Tombs , Grape Valley and Emin
Minaret . After lunch drive back to Urumqi . Overnight
in Hotel World Plaza.
Day10 Morning drive to the Heavenly
Lake ¨C a project of Man & Biology by UNESCO,
enjoying a boat trip on the lake and a visit to
a Kazak yurt. Evening flight to Kashgar , a giant
oasis and key city on the Silk Road. Overnight

Day11 Visit Id - kah Mosque -
the largest mosque in the northwest of China.
Abahoja Tombs - a family grave yard for centuries.
Overnight in Seman Hotel
Day12 full day excursion to Sunday
bazaar ¨C one of most colorful markets in China
with thousands of people buying and selling their
fascinating Wares. After dinner fly back to Urumqi

Day13 morning flight to Beijing.
An unusual experience awaits you to visit the
old Hutong residential neighborhood and Forbidden
City. Overnight in Qianmen Hotel
Day14 excursion to the Great
Wall (Mutianyu) and Ming Tombs. dinner enjoying
the famous Beijing Roasted Duck in Quanjude Restaurant
. Overnight in Qianmen Hotel
Day15 morning transfer to Beijing
Airport for your homeward flight.
